Soul Care Christian Counselling and Consulting is a faith-based, culturally responsive practice offering virtual therapy across Canada. We walk with individuals, couples, families and groups through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout and the questions of faith and identity that so often come with them.
We believe healing touches every part of you: mind, body, soul and spirit, and your relationships too. Many of our clients are Christians who want their faith welcomed in the room. Many others come to us because they want a therapist who understands their culture and their story. Everyone is welcome here.
Beyond the therapy room, we bring mental health teaching to churches, schools, workplaces and podcasts, because healing grows best in community.
Our story
Soul Care was founded in 2021 by Jessica Robinson-Grant. As a Black woman, Jessica knows from her own life how deeply hard experiences can shape a person, and how much healing becomes possible when you are truly seen. That journey led her to study sociology and then social work, and it still shapes how she shows up for every client.
For her Master of Social Work, Jessica researched the role of social work in the Black church. What she found confirmed what she had long seen in her own community: people of faith need a safe place to heal, and that place has to understand their culture as well as their faith. Too often, people felt they had to choose between their faith and their healing. Soul Care was created so they would not have to.
Everything we do grows from 3 John 1:2: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” From that verse, Jessica coined the phrase that guides our whole team:
It is the will of the Father that you are well.
Well in mind, body, soul and spirit, and well in our relationships too.
Jessica is also the founder of Bloom, a faith based women's wellness and discipleship community.

Our team
Jessica is joined by a team of therapists who understand faith and culture from the inside, and who will walk with you at your pace.
